A Note
About Dopplers:
The Broad-Beam
5 MHz Probe is used for quick assessment of virtually
any peripheral vessels, easy detection of deeper vessels (femoral, Carotid), and
is the probe
of choice for taking systolic blood pressures.
The Focused 8 MHz Probe is used
for specific identification of peripheral vessels, sensitive detection of superficial
vessels (Digits, toes, etc.) and areas where the probe size is an issue.
